Men’s 1s secured a 3-2 home win against Pelicans 1s, with goals coming from Ben Apperly, Harvey Walton-Adams, and Flynn Krishman.
Ladies 1s achieved a critical 2-1 away win against Bedford 2s. Bedford applied early pressure, leading to an initial concession from a rebounded ball. However, Blueharts responded by switching to a more attacking formation, gaining more possession. Lucy Nissen equalised from a penalty flick and then scored the winning goal in the second half after build-up play from Gabi and Kam. Goalie Liv made critical saves to maintain the 2-1 scoreline, securing vital points as the season nears its close.
Men’s 2s faced a home challenge against St Albans 3s, resulting in a 2-4 loss.
Ladies 2s delivered a dominant performance, securing a 5-1 home victory against Bedford 4s with excellent attacking hockey. Josie opened the scoring calmly from open play. Kate added two goals, one from a sharp deflection and another a powerful strike from a short corner. Molly fired home a clinical drag flick, and Rosie reacted quickly to slot in a rebound from another drag flick, completing a superb team display.
Men’s 3s achieved a 4-1 home win against Harpenden 2s, with Piers Douglas scoring two goals, and Oscar Galliford and Matthew Scott each adding one.
Ladies 3s celebrated a strong 5-1 home win against Saffron Walden 3s. Goals were scored by Cat Cattermole, Fiona Hutchings, Katrina McLarty, Alice Winton, and Anna Claypole.
Men’s 4s secured a 4-2 away win against Letchworth 2s, with Joel Davey and Charlie Moore both scoring two goals.
Ladies 4s played a home game against St Albans 5s, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Men’s 5s recorded a 4-1 away win against Cheshunt 1s. Peter Mitchell, Zac Wright, Harry Sampson, and Harri Flinn were the goal scorers.
Ladies 5s enjoyed a commanding 4-1 away victory over Bedford 6s, with Niamh Hartley Matthews scoring all four goals.
Men’s 7s played out a 1-1 away draw against St Albans 8s, with Darren Francis scoring for Blueharts.
Men’s 8s produced their best performance and result of the season with an emphatic 6-0 home victory against Royston 3. An even first half saw a turning point with a penalty flick save from Nick Russell, which sparked an immediate response with two quick goals from Zac Thomas. The second half saw scintillating hockey, with Zac Thomas adding another two goals, and captain Dan Holder and Alex Lee each scoring one. This eighteenth win preserves Blueharts Men’s 8s' 19-point lead at the top of the division.
