The BH Summer Cup has rolled through a busy few weeks, with plenty of goals, hard-fought draws and movement in the standings across both the Cup and Plate divisions.
CUP RESULTS
Renegades, Little Deers, and Young Offenders are leading the charge, with Renegades and Little Deers currently tied at the top on 19 points, and Young Offenders just one point behind with a game in hand. Renegades have shown consistency with six wins from eight, while Young Offenders continue to be the division’s top scorers with an impressive 35 goals.
Bed by 9 have climbed to fourth with some strong performances, including back-to-back wins over Letchworth, while Luton Social XI are keeping in touch with four wins. Stevenage and Letchworth continue to battle hard, while Ringers are still looking for their first win of the tournament.
PLATE RESULTS
The Plate division remains incredibly tight, with BH Allstars and Harpenden neck and neck at the top, both on 17 points, separated only by goal difference. BH Wrinkled and Reckless remain in striking distance in third, boosted by some high-scoring wins.
BH Indies have shown flashes of form, including a strong 6–1 victory over The Rejects, while The Rejects themselves remain in the mix with three wins so far. BH Allsorts Alces and BH Allsorts Moose continue to battle it out, each searching for a breakthrough win in the second half of the competition.
What’s next?
With just over five weeks left in the Summer Cup, every match will be crucial in deciding who will be lifting the trophies in August. The top of both divisions is finely poised, with many teams still in the hunt for the title, and plenty of hockey still to play.
